Personalised: how it works

Start with your own photograph

A personalised TerraRiot design begins with a photograph of your own animal. You might want to capture familiar markings, a particular expression or your animal’s name. The general personalisation offers use suitable photographs to develop a personal design with a name or slogan. Before deciding, read the description of the shirt or hoodie you want. It sets out the photograph requirements, the garment measurements and the process for that offer.

The ASC Trittau example

ASC Trittau’s published customer story shows this design process in practice. A photo of his oldest male Furcifer lateralis provided the reference. It became a personal shirt design, with artwork and layout agreed together. ASC Trittau then approved the final version. In the individual order shown, the design sits on the left chest and the ASC Trittau lettering appears on the back. This arrangement explains that particular example.

Prepare original photographs

Use sharp original photographs of your own at the highest available resolution. The animal should be well lit and fully visible. Additional existing views may help establish its individual features. The product pages identify screenshots, small messaging-app previews and artificially enlarged images as unsuitable references. Use natural photographs without disturbing or staging the animal. Check the accepted file formats and size limits on the selected product page too.

Choose the garment and agree the design

Select the general personalised oversize tee or the general personalised Drummer hoodie and check its measurements. Add the species, name or slogan using the process offered on that page. The images are reviewed and the design is agreed with you by email. Review spelling, the animal’s features and print placement together. Both product descriptions state that printing starts only after your explicit approval of the design.

Use the digital preview to discuss placement

The ASC story presents the reference photo, separate artwork and digital shirt views alongside one another. Use the product preview to discuss the arrangement of design and lettering. The enlarged artwork explains the design and does not enlarge the actual print area. The current draft is the reference for your approval. A personal arrangement in a customer story does not create an additional standard option for the general offer.

Four specific starting points

The two personalisation links lead to the general offers for your own order. If you prefer an existing lettering design, explore CULTURE CORE or KEEPER CULTURE. These brand statements offer another way to express the shared fascination. This gives you a clear choice between wearing an existing design and starting a personal project with your own photograph.
