The tongue, banded scales and surrounding grasses offer different ways into this Wild Origin composition. A blue-tongued skink displays its tongue in response to a threat, and Tiliqua scincoides finds cover among vegetation and other shelters. Australia, Tanimbar and Babar belong to its range.
